Product overview
Liquid detergent remains in direct contact with the film throughout storage. Film selection therefore needs to consider the complete formulation and the finished pod, rather than thickness alone. What to evaluate
- Evaluate compatibility using the actual detergent, including its moisture and solvent system.
- Check forming depth, film stretch and finished-wall consistency on your machine.
- Assess seal strength, leakage and handling after storage.
- Test breakup and dissolution at the intended wash temperature and agitation.
From inquiry to an application trial
For a rotary drum or flatbed machine, identify the top and bottom films separately. Send both widths, nominal thicknesses, forming dimensions and sealing method. A line trial should assess runnability and pack integrity before approving production.

Can any PVA film be used with a liquid detergent?
No. Formulation contact and storage conditions can change film performance. Evaluate a representative formulation and the finished pod.
Do the top and bottom films need the same specification?
Not necessarily. Width, forming duty and thickness may differ. Send both specifications and a machine photo or drawing.
What is needed for a sample recommendation?
